Paul grew up locally in Shell Lake, WI. He graduated from Shell Lake High School in 1995. He moved to Menomonie, WI where he attended UW Stout. He received a BS degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management in December 1999.

Paul worked 17 years at the St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake, WI in various management positions.

He joined his Father and Sister in the insurance business in August 2017. He lives on the family farm in Timberland with his two boys Maximus and Jaxson.
